Looking for New Credit Card

in Credit cards
Hi all
Firstly thanks for looking at my thread.
A few years ago we were not in a great place with debt.
Its been a long road, but following advise on here, and a lot of hard work and over time, we have managed to get rid of all our loans and credit cards and have a much better mortgage deal.
We both have a very good credit rating now :-)
What I am after now is a card that is for an emergency fund only.
As an example I have elderly relatives in Ireland and I may have to go to a funeral at very short notice, so would need flights and hire a car very quickly.
I would anticipate paying anything off within a month or two max.
Just trying to work out which card would be best
Thanks

Any one will fit the bill.
However, if you now have a lack of credit history, due to no active credit, your options may be limited. Try your own bank first.0 -
I have a ZX81 in the loft :-)
Credit history should now be good,
Thanks for the advise0 -
If there's a likelihood of non-sterling expense, such as car hire in Ireland, Aqua Reward has no fees for foreign purchases, gives 0.5% cashback and is relatively easy to get with a limited credit history.
Use whatever card you get regularly, paid off in full each month, to establish good history and have the limit increased to a useful level in case of sudden need.Evolution, not revolution0
