  • Have you reported your ex for fraud? By making payments to them you have in effect admitted the debt

    Hello there,

Write to Capquest and ask for a CCA, using the letter template from a previous poster on this thread. If they have one they must send it to you. Probably they wont have one, and if they do it wont be signed by you. You have to enclose £1, which is the standard fee.

If they don't have a CCA signed by you they cannot chase the debt and also you can ask them to give you back the money you have paid them.[FONT=&quot]

Don't sign it, just print your name because they have been known to forge your signature on a CCA.

There are other letters to send after you have waited the twelve working days (12+2), then another one after 30 days, then you can report them to OFT and TS and other financial bodies.

I hope that is useful to you.

    Gale

P.S. Sorry for the change in font, my pc seems to have a mind of its own!

I missed this bit out, you can write to them satellite, and tell them you will only deal with them in writing.

Thats why I dislike these outfits with a passion. IMHO preying on the financially vulnerable should be a criminal offence. Preferably with a minimum penalty of 1. winding the company up 2. Distributing the assets to a debt charity and 3. Barring the directors from holding such a position for life

Please send phatbear's letter from post 8.

Even if you have been paying it, unless they they send the CCA signed by you in 12 working days +2 , they cannot chase you for the money.

And if they cannot produce it after another 30 days, you can reclaim the money you have paid them as well.
If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing
  • Hi RAS, The letter i sent was like phatbears. Where in law does it state about 12+2+30 m8? is there another letter stating this?
    thanks
