Tuckenhay Mill, near Totnes Devon - nice relaxing place

Recently stayed here - Various sized 1 & 2 storey apartments, around a quiet countryside complex (renovated water mill).

There are three heated pools (£1 a go for steam room / sauna), and free use of gym, snooker room, large games room.. great value if you made full use of the facilities, though we were out most days, exploring.

We paid approx £600 for a week (plus food, self catering), self drive there (car deffo needed), between four people.

Very clean & cosy, well equipped kitchen, tv and dvd player, limited wifi (depending on signal), and naf all phone unless you are up high!

maybe best if you're not too lanky like me, due to the low ceilings, & seemingly short beds!

Two nice pubs easy walk; Totnes is nearest town for supplies, Paignton, Dartmouth and rest of Devon - all needs a car.

Paignton beach looked nice, best done on a warm day.
Plenty boat trips around / from Dartmouth harbour.
