Revolut or Clarity or both?!

Hi all,
I used to have the Travelex card which is ending in July and also the Halifax Clarity. A friend has recommended the Revolut card and app.
I am going to Turkey and Romania soon and was looking at which is best or all of them?!
I plan on taking a small amount of local currency and then withdrawing cash as and when needed and using a card for possible larger purchases in stores etc.
What's the general opinion on how best to do this?

See? I said Revolut or Clarity and you threw in another card!!!
I've just applied for the Revolut any reason why you recommend Monzo over it?0 -
Monzo costs nothing. Three cards are better than one, which could sometimes fail or be lost. I consider it worth £5 for a Revolut card if you travel regularly.Evolution, not revolution0

Our card of preference is CaxtonFXMags - who loves shopping0

Revolut has too many caveats. £5 for a physical card. Exchange rates curtailed at the weekend. Some currencies permanently curtailed. Ridiculously low £200 per month limit of free ATM withdrawals abroad. They implement policies and then announce them afterwards.
Revolut's USP is that you can purchase some currencies when you think that they are their peak value in your favour and store them on the account.
Monzo would be my choice for worldwide travel.
I already have a Revolut account and card, but they now insist that I have to verify my account before I can use my existing card. Happy to throw the nonsense in the bin.0 -
Halifax Clarity every time, 1.14613181e to the £ a couple of days ago, only 1.10e in the resort.

If you are travelling with a partner then 2 separate clarity cards. Both me and my wife have one in our own names which seems to work well.0

I would definetly recommend the Monzo card. It is completely free and offers an almost perfect exchange rate with no fees for spending and cash withdrawals abroad.
It also instantly shows any transactions on your mobile with the exchange rate and remaining balance.
I also have the Haifax Clarity card but have stopped using that for cash withdrawals abroad due to this causing adverse marks on your credit report, which can reduce your chances of getting credit in the future if you do it alot.0 -

We use one Clarity for purchases and another for cash withdrawals.
I haven't noticed any adverse impact on my credit rating.0 -

If you're clearing the debt fully cash withdrawals are highly unlikely to affect credit assessment in future.
It's a different story if you're accessing cash and debt on the card keeps increasing.0
