UPDATE: This proved to be such a bargain that RAC have now halved their Quidco cashback to £40. This means the Solution 3 product works out at £54.40 - still a bargain compared to it's usual price of £136, but not as good as yesterday.

Quidco have explained that the cashback automatically tracks at £21 initially, but then increases to the correct amount once it's been checked. Those who got in on time should still get their £80 cashback.

Hia - sorry, I did a quick search and found this mentioned on another thread, but thought it was worth one of its own.

I have just done this deal through Quidco and have only been given £21 cashback from RAC (I think this was their old cashback deal). Not £80, as promised!!
Please beware. If you have done this deal and earned the £80 cashback, please do let us know.

It actually says on the quidco website...

"Although this may initially have tracked at £21 you will be paid £80 for option 3 breakdown cover. Please do not call RAC in relation to this as they will be unable to assist you with this query."

I have had cashbacks before that it says will track at 0.00 initially, but will track at the correct amount after a few weeks, and they always have done and been paid in full every time
