I am trying to find a way of saving FLASH based files to my C: drive
This is an "on-line" course - comprised of about 150 pages !!
Any suggestions ?

The easy way would to post us the site link so that we can see what we have installed works for you.

I'm on FF, and have the following addons
    download them all
    Flash and video download
Flash Video Downloader - YouTube HD Download [4K]
    scrapbook
    scrapbook plus

Notable mentions that worked EXTREMELY well but were removed due to bring flagged as spyware:
Ant Video Downloader > hard to install on my system
EagleGet > possibly the best video grabber and downloader I have ever used

Its a British Gas site that needs a log in !!

I am trying to save it to allow to do it off line
it appears to be mostly video - but from a pop out screen - with no way of using a normal menu

you need to depersonalise that link

Still cant get to the files, would suggest Eagleget-never failed me, then use malwarebutes and awclean after you have got them

Ant Video downloader is good, it will see it once you have started to play it and paused or ended,

Download them all will be the same.

Can be tedious, I have saved courses from sites, always a good idea to have the folder it saves them to open and to rename them as soon as each save is complete.
Thanks - but Ant doesn't allow me to download the file
The problem is that the video is on a pop up with no menu at all !!

...How long is each video, if they are under 5 mins you can use Jing
For free, you can't beat FlashBack express, but you do have to give them your email address (or an email address). They email you about 2 times a year. It captures sound, and left and indicates right mouse clicks

Sounds like something JDownloader may work on.

Do NOT use JDownloader - it comes with "unwanted attachments"

I downloaded the RAR file (from jdownloader.org) and scanned it with AVAST - It showed that it was clean
So - I unzipped it, I unchecked the "FREE OFFER" box and ran the .exe
AVAST blocked it - telling me that it was infected with a Trojan !!
Webinebinec_s4.exe being the unwanted file !

Another one for FF, but unsure if it will work for you as it is designed for capturing web pages. I used it on Wayback Machine, and after lots of jiggery and pokery got a site back to a useable form.

I use Video DownloadHelper, an add-on for FF plus others.
You know what uranium is, right? It's this thing called nuclear weapons. And other things. Like lots of things are done with uranium. Including some bad things.
