Multiple texts from RBS

Two weeks ago made a claim for missold PPI on a loan I had from NatWest about 20 years ago. This week received 5 texts, each with a different reference number, stating that I would receive a letter within10 working days with their decision. I am wondering if they have looked at long forgotten loans and credit cards from NatWest? I don't think I had PPIn any of them.
Have been prompted into action by my other half who has just received a payout from a credit card from 1999.
