Bathroom water pressure

Hi,
Having a bathroom fitted at present. From googling, we have a gravity fed open vented system and the plumber on Friday has fit the bath, toilet and taps and is picking up the basin, flooring and everything else from Tuesday. When clocking off on Friday he mentioned that whilst the bath was plumbed in, the water pressure for the hot seemed really low but that could be because the boiler hadn't been on in a while. I took a look at it and the pressure is *really* low - we've had a few baths since and it takes maybe 20 minutes to fill the bath up.
I think, having looked at the specs of the suite we ordered, the problem lies in the taps - the specs for the bath taps state min of 1 bar pressure, and the basin taps say 0.5-6 bar pressure. As we have gravity fed, again based on google, i assume we are about 0.2 bar max as the bathroom is upstairs and tank is not that high a level in the loft, so i presume that this is caused by the low pressure and the old taps were fine as they were somehow designed for low pressure systems?
Is our solution to basically buy new taps for basin and bath that are rated for 0.1 or 0.2 bar, or are there any other solutions?
We do not have a combi boiler - we have a conventional boiler in the kitchen with hot water tank upstairs.
We are selling the house in the next 12 months hence replacing bathroom (was an awful avocado suite before), so don't want to spend a fortune replacing heating systems etc.

Just go & buy cheap taps & sell the other bath taps & tell him not to bother picking up the basin taps & just get low pressure onesI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0
