Payment for PPI, was I robbed?

Hi, a few years ago I received a letter from First Plus stating I had been miss-sold PPI and offered an amount to settle, which I accepted.
I have since learnt that they potentially short changed people, can I start a new claim for what I should have received?

Did they remove the whole PPI amount and the interest on that from the balance of the loan and reduce the loan payment by the PPI monthly amount?.MightySprocket wrote: »Hi, a few years ago I received a letter from First Plus stating I had been miss-sold PPI and offered an amount to settle, which I accepted.

If not, that is how you were short changed by this company.
The whole PPI and the interest on that, would still be on the loan to term end with interest, you also do not get the reduction of the PPI from the monthly payment.
Could you clarify what redress you actually received and when?.0 -
Thanks, when I received the settlement, from memory it was a good will payment, it was quite a large amount (13k). There was no mention of interest or a breakdown of how it was calculated.
The reason for asking is I was told by someone who had also had a similar thing from them and also from a claims company who cold called, I have no idea if it is true or not.0
