Holiday to Mauritius

Hi folks, planing to travel to Mauritius for my honeymoon next September.

Does anyone know the best way to get there from Scotland, tour operators\airlines, etc?

Any moneysaving tips for the trip?

Thanks

J

Suggest you go all inclusive as it can be quite expensive in the hotels. Emirates sometimes have some good deals and they fly from Glasgow.
I stayed at the Shandrani when I was there which was very close to the airport but the noise was ok as there are only a few takeoffs a day.

Hi we've been four times and each time we've booked with Kuoni, have a look on the website to see if they have any special offers and its always worth a try to call them direct to see what they can offer.

I would highly recomend looking at legends resort (look on trip advisor) it is perfect! avoid Le Coco Beach its full of kids (not what you want on your honeymoon)

If you have any questions about what to see and do please ask.

Hope you have a wonderful time, it really is heaven on earth!

  • Hiya,

We flew from Glasgow and booked with Brides and Beaches who were by far the cheapest. (about £1200 in total)

Flew from Glasgow to Heathrow with BA and then Air Mauritius who were really good.

We stayed at the Heritage hotel, like others have said I would go all-inc.
