I usually save Pics on my PC and 'save picture as'
I'm saving some pics but I can't open them as it's an unknown file format, although it is a Jpeg.
The format is a 'SIZED file'
Never seen one of these......is there anyway I can make it viewable on my PC?
Thanks

works for me.. what you could try doing is when you 'save as' delete the .saved part of the file name as your computer might be picking that up as the file extension and ignoring it's a jpg0
-
It doesn't have a .saved part on mine....just called britney_spears
What did you open it with afterwards?0 -
Right, I've opened it with some kind of imaging program I have.
It won't open with Microsoft Photo editor...
How do I set pictures to open with other applications.........and is there a good free downloadable one?0 -
opened with the standard windows photo viewer.. Mine was showing as britney_spears.sized (damned alcohol making me spell it wrong) with the file type as jpeg (.jpg).
When you save it what icon does it give? the usual one for a picture or the usual one for unknown extension / no idea what program to open it with.
you could try adding .jpg onto the end of the britney_spears or renaming it once it's saved.0 -
you can change the application that opens certain file types by going into windows explorer:
tools
options
file types
finding them and use 'change' to change the application0 -
It gives like a frame and a paintbrush which is meant to be painting red
I can open with some sort of imaging program I have, looks like a Kodak one that came with machine
Adding .jpg has worked perfectly......thanks0 -
