I have worked with a team in a Local Council that provide on call care services (the personal alarm systems) and I couldn't recommend this highly enough for complete peace of mind. And at a cost of around £4 a week, it definitely isn't a rip off for 24/7 monitoring.0

Local council here is £2.65 a week and this includes an on-call support worker who comes out to your home in response to a call if necessary.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0

Done, but when they remove spam they also remove any posts quoting it, so wouldn't make any odds.
Spammer should be thoroughly ashamed of himself though. I'll remove the link when the spam post goes. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

I'd recommend the alarms connected to call centres. They do cost but you have piece of mind knowing they are manned 24/7. How crap would you feel if someone tried to call you and you had forgotten your phone / were asleep / somewhere with no signal etc.
The main issue is the user needs to wear the pendant! I've know a few folks fall and because they had taken off the pendent they were stuck without help. Most councils either have a system or can recommend one.0 -
got the pendant jobs for both granparents. gran wore it quite happily (under her jumper so not ideal, but I figured at least if she was on the floor it was with her). granddad was a nightmare and would leave It on the coffee table when he got up, so the only time he had access to it was when he was already sat down safe. problem solved when I found a holder that it fitted in that went on his wrist like a watch, totally fine with that. their ones phoned through a prearranged list of 4 numbers and if it didn't get any it went through to the call centre lady.saving for more holidays0
