Au Revoir

Posted this first on the DMP thread but i thought i would share with all my pals on the main forum

Morning

Been thinking a lot recently and i need a break. Not a holiday I just need to step away from the forum for a while. I think I have become addicted and i just need to get back to my family. I spend most of my day thinking about this site, figures and spreadsheets, and to be honest, it is starting to have a detrimental effect on my work. I feel that i now have the financial savvy to step out into the wide world and am going to do so now. I cannot express how much you have all helped me on here and i wish you all the best for the future and i feel that i can regard you as my friends.I need to spend a day where i can forget about my debt for a while and not keep thinking about it 24/7 as i am starting to feel a bit ill and my head,some days,seems to be going around in circles. The debt will always be there and i will be updating my sig as it is my record of how much i owe and i will be catching up with you all occasionly but will not be posting for a while just lurking in the shadows. I just need to pay attention to other things that are close to me that i do not wish to lose. I cannot thank you all enough and without this wonderfull site i dont know where i would be at the moment but i just need to get away for a bit. It might only be for a few days or it may be longer but i assure you I WILL BE BACK. Better go now before i tear up and love to you all.

Thats it there is no more. Yellowmonkey has left the building

    AWwww YM, we will miss you...sorry that you are feeling the way you are. If its any consolation I went through the same way a couple of weeks ago, but I came out the other side. I withdrew for a while, but the lure of the site was too strong for me.

    Take care, we will be thinking of you. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!{HUGS}}}}}}}}

    Aww big hug for you. It does all get a bit much & the site is addicting! I went through what you did for about 6 months having been very "involved" for a while and concluded that what I needed was a life & some balance. Be careful though because this is like an AA meeting & I have been kicking myself for paying off so little when I was off track...not a nag as I can TOTALLY understand how you feel and do think you have done the right thing. Big squidgy hug for you & do keep popping in to let us know how you are and to help keep on track!

    I'm glad you're realising what's going on and taking steps to re-balance your life, at the same time as staying on the road. I'm sure your family will be glad to have you back.
