Find the Snail in the Story
Snail hunting
As well as including a snail in all of his paintings, Mike Wilks has also hidden his trademark snail within the text of Mirrorscape. The difference here is that the snail in the book isnt drawn so you will have to read the book in order to find it.</LABEL>
For your chance

would like to give a huge thanks to isitenough who amazed us all and read the book in two days

This isn't the same comp. The macbook one we have to read the book to find the answer. The premium bonds one is different (and damn hard to find!).Thank you to everyone who posts comps! :A

any book readers here?
Entirely innocent question from ginjim, I know, but it did make me laugh. It reminded me of the Bill Hicks sketch where he's in a waffle restauarant in the midwest of America reading a book while he eats his waffles and the waitress asks him: "Why you reading a book?". Slightly taken aback, he pauses and replies: "Well, I guess the main reason is so I don't end up as a waffle waitress." Then a trucker in the next booth pipes up: "Well lookee here, we got ourselves a reader!". :rotfl:
Anyway, to answer your question, yes I do read books but not the type that would be useful in this thread. Many tx to all who post constructively in all the forums!:beer:0 -
Anyone spotted the snail yet?
This will sound weird, but in a dream last night I saw the snail. (Cue music from the twilight zone) It was in a lunette or 1/2 moon shape but it was not contextualised within the drawing.... ARGH! lol
Either I'm obsessed or feeling really guilty in a buddhist kinda way for having accidentally trod on a snail yesterday.Still waiting for Dyson to bring out a ride-on hoover...Memberships:

I know where the snail is. If you get to the bottom right-hand section of the picture, you will see like a bridge with a boat on top. Then look to the left of the boat and you'll see a spirally whirl, click on it. Actually there's a few spirally whirls knocking about but you'll soon find it if you click around that area.
Edit: Just checked my library and they don't have the book. DD still has £20 voucher to spend in Waterstones though, so maybe I'll have to tempt her if it looks good. lol.I've been lucky, I'll be lucky again. ~ Bette Davis0
