E: 04/06 2 tickets to open air Pride & Prejudice play + meal, Richmond N.Yorks 08/06
reg/login with Living North
As Jane Austen would’ve written had she been alive today, ‘I declare after all there is no enjoyment like watching movies and theatre under the stars!’ She’d have been talking about the Middleton Lodge Estate, and their returning Summer Season of Film and Theatre, all of which take place in the grounds of the Georgian Country Estate.
Located on the outskirts of Richmond, North Yorkshire, Middleton Lodge is expanding its open-air season by adding several outdoor theatre performances to its calendar. Starting this June, guests can watch the Jane Austen classic, Pride and Prejudice, played out against the backdrop of the 18th century Georgian country mansion. Tickets cost £15 per person for adults and £10 for children aged five to 14. Children under five go for free – as will one lucky Living North reader and a companion at the 8 June performance at 7.45pm of Pride and Prejudice.
Beforehand, enjoy a two course pre-theatre dinner at the highly-regarded Coach House Restaurant, with a bottle of house wine served with the meal.
