My partner has no credit history at all, I know that when you open a joint account, it creates a financial association. But how would that affect me if my partner has no credit history? It's usually not a good thing as lenders simply don't know anything about whether or not you are a credit risk to them. I have no plans to apply for any credit in the near future anyway, but would like to know before we do that.
