Trying to leave npower
I'm at my wits end trying to switch my electric supply away from Npower. I started the process in March and I've now been blocked 4 times. I have an official complaint raised since 4th April. I have a letter dated 12th April from Npower saying the objection is lifted, and today I've had a call from my new supplier saying that the switch has been objected to again more than a week after the switch date. My account is in credit. I spoke to the complaints people today and they don't understand whey there is an objection.
Is there any sort of nuclear option to force an anergy supplier to release you as a customer? When an objection is lodged the new supplier PfP starts the switch process which can take up to three weeks, and today I've been told it will take 4 weeks.
I can't recall ever having such difficulty dealing with any other business or organisation as I have with Npower.

Hi Vicky
Are you the same Vicky who replied to me on facebook this morning?
Are you able to do any more than the complaints team? So far they are failing me badly. Promises made on paper and by phone have not been fulfilled. This has led me to be very sceptical of any offers of help from npower cs staff. But if you think you have more ability to make things happen please let me know and I will send you my account details.0
