Insurance - Have You Had An Accident In Last 5 Years?
Comments

But insurance companies base their premiums on risk, not fault.
You could have a hundred accidents a year that were not your fault, but your insurer would be justified in regarding you as a high-risk customer and adjust your premium accordingly.0 -
agree to disagree. I think the government should have much more control over insurance rates and keep them lower for everyone.
Or are you suggesting that tax payers should subsidise insurance for the higher-risk driver?
I have three policies at the moment - the premiums are all less than £150 for the year, fully comp.0 -
Also why would medical treatment be limited by your bank account? Have you heard of the NHS?
Your faith in the NHS is touching, but mis-placed.
The availability of non-emergency services such as physiotherapy can be very limited in some areas, and even if freely available tends to be a '9 to 5' service. Even if you can obtain all the treatment you need on the NHS, your bank account can be badly hit through having to take time off work.
My comments come from bitter personal experience of trying to arrange rehabilitation for a close relative.0
