sorry to be thick but how do you work out the running costs of a freezer ? i have discovered the joys of buying reduced bread and am trying to work out if it would be sensible to buy a freezer to store it in or wether i am wasting my time 
also has anyone had the lemon chicken from m and s is it nice ??

If you look them up on John Lewis (or other online retailer) you will see something like:
Estimated Annual Energy Consumption Information - 249kWh/year
It then depends on what your tariff is as to what this means in money terms.
above example was for a Beko tall freezer. My electricity rate is something like 11p per kWh so this freezer would cost approx. £27 per year to run - if full. A freezer that is full is cheaper to run then an empty freezer
Any empty space, fill with bread an milk or just empty ice cream containers0 -
