Sainsbury's Credit Card Query - points

We've recently opened a Sainsbury's credit card account and I'm sure I read that if you use it to shop in Sainsbury's 4 times in the first month, you get 5000 Nectar points. I've just looked on their website to double check and it doesn't mention 4 shops. All I can see now is that you have to spend £250 to qualify for the 5000 points. Can anyone clarify? Thanks!

If you split the £250 over at least 4 different Sainsubrys transactions then you should be ok either way. Most people don't actually spend £250 in Sanisburys in one go.

I didn't really want to spend anywhere near that much. That's why I was hoping it was the 4 shops so that I can just spend what I need to. Thank you for your response!

I believe that the offer has recently been changed, As I don't know exactly when the offer was changed or exactly when you applied for the card, you will have to call then to find out which offer you have been given.
If you don't intend to spend at least £250pm in Sanisburys I wonder why you chose to obtain one of their nectar points rewards cards.

We took out the card for a balance transfer. We don't really intend to use it for purchases but I would like to benefit from the 5000 points they're offering!
