Estate Agent Rules?

Options
I'm curious. If your offer gets accepted for a property, are the estate agents then allowed to tell you afterwards what the other buyers offered for the property?

If the seller wants to release that information, yes. But they're (obviously) not going to do that before exchange, are unlikely to tell you afterwards, and you really don't want to know, do you?

Well it came about when I got told I had a lower offer I needed to increase it for the vendors to accept. I refused and stuck to my offer... The estate agent called me 2 hours later and said I have good news I've spoken with the vendor and they've decided to go with you as the buyer. So I voiced up my suspicions that this was an attempt for them to get me to raise my offer... The estate agent told me a fob story, and the a amount of the other buyers offer . I'm digging deeper as I don't trust this story they gave me... And I question if they're even allowed to advise other buyers what offers were put forward ??

And like I said, they are, if their clients agree. Which is unlikely.

The vendor may simply have had another offer from someone who he believed was not in a position to complete as quickly as you, due to mortgage issues, being in a chain, etc. Or maybe they just withdrew their offer. Agents will not jeopardise a sale for the sake of a couple of hundred extra commission.

We accepted a lower offer for our house as in our opinion those buyers were in a better situation to move the sale forwards.

You've got what you wanted. Why rock the boat now and make yourself look like trouble?
