Accident in Company Car - Effect on Personal Car Insurance?

Hi,

Fairly sure I know the answer, but I had an accident that was my fault in a company car last October.

I've just got a new job with a car allowance and have declared the claim to the insurance company covering me.

A colleague at work has told me I don't need to tell the insurer about claims when driving a company vehicle. This can't be right?!

If the question asked is "have you had any accidents...", the answer is yes.

    It's very easy.
When your personal insurance company asks if you have had any accidents, you answer honestly and say "yes"
Any other answer would be untrue and fraudulent
