Leaving University - Can I Get JSA?

Hey!
I'm in my final year of university, got exams in a couple of weeks then I'm all finished
I've got a job lined up but I don't start until the beginning of August. Seeing as I'm completely skint I was wondering if it would be possible for me to apply for the dole during June and July or would the fact that I've got a job already lined up prevent me from getting anything?
Cheers for any help

Jobcentre Plus - Jobseeker's Allowance
You are treated as a student until the last day of the course which is the last day of the final academic year is officially sheduled to fall.
But it would be worth asking.
Providing you make it clear you are prepared to accept any job and will be actively seeking work, the fact that you have a job lined up for later isn't relevent to the current claim, you don't have to tell them that.My weight loss following Doktor Dahlqvist' Dietary Program
