What banks are have one FSA guarantee

I have two questions
1) Has the 100% guarantee on £35000 on deposits come into effect?
2) As this guarantee only available per FSA licence so you get £35000 per bank back. ie If you have money in HBOS or Halifax or Birmingham midshire. This 35000 guarantee is based on the sum total money you have in all three.
Can you list what other banks are the same with a different board on the shop front?
The other ones I know are
1) HSBC and First Direct.
2) Abbey and cahoot.
