Credit Club - Failed Experian Identifcation Process! Grrrrrrr!

Anyone as exasperated as me trying to get back into the MSE Credit Club?
I signed up for the Credit Club some time ago - back at the beginning of last year I think. I recently tried to login again and had to run the gauntlet of the Experian ID process. Because there have been some changes in circumstances - moved house, new mobile phone contract, I couldn't remember the relevant details asked for in the ID check process.
I'm now at the stage where I get the following message:
"Sorry, but you have failed the Experian identification process. This means that Experian was unable to verify your identity from the details you provided. The information that it holds on you is very sensitive so it can't allow access unless it's sure you are who you say you are.
Unfortunately this does happen to a small proportion of people, for a number of different reasons. Here's what to try:"
I've followed the recommendations but I'm obviously still getting something wrong somewhere as eventually I get:
"... In some cases, there could be other issues that mean you can’t get through Experian’s rigorous identity checking process. Experian does not disclose full details of the process used to verify your identity in order to guard against fraud.
Unfortunately, if you are unable to get beyond this step, you will not be able to complete registration."
So basically I'm stuck! The irony is any agency that wants to run a credit check on me can do so but I can't access my own information!! I applaud MSE and Experian for good security in looking after my data but when security is so good that I can't access my own data it's a bit self defeating!
Is it just me........
Regards,
WB.

Hi WhiskeyBravo
Thanks for your post and I'm sorry to hear that you've been unable to get through the verification stages for Credit Club. This part of Credit Club is powered by Experian and here at MSE we don't have any access to your personal details, so I'm afraid we're not able to look into why you might not be passing the checks.
Currently 15ish% of people who try to sign-up are unable to get through. Whilst we understand that this can be frustrating if you're the genuine individual, given the huge amount of personal data available in Credit Club, the checks intend to do their best to ensure that you are who you say you are.
We're continuing to work with Experian to improve and tweak the process, but I can understand why you might find this a little frustrating.
I appreciate probably not the solution you're looking for, but there is always the option to request your £2 statutory credit report if you're keen to check the details held on you. More details on this are at the link below.

I also could not get identified for the MSE Credit Club.
I bit the bullet and signed up for the free trial of Experian Credit Expert - what a pain and performance.
Experian claim they don't actually input any data, just import it in from the various sources. My local Council insist they have submitted my address correctly (as per Royal Mail).
So after two months it stills shows (incorrectly) on Experian that I am not registered on the Electoral Roll when I have always been registered on the Electoral Roll since age 18.
Now a formal complaint (Experian timelines are ridiculously long) and I expect this will end up with Financial Ombudsman Service.
Not impressed (and this is the short version of my experience....)0
