Claim form for court after parking tickets

No we recommend OPs read other good defences and steal words/ paragraphs that can be applied to their own case.Oldskoolpirate wrote: »yeah thats correct
It only refers to one incident which was the second and last fine I got in this specific area.
ok thank you
ok i wont include that part then.
Thank you for replying back, would it matter that it fairly similar to previous defences?
Defences do need to be personalised, however, with specifics about your own situation added in.
We see witness statements from PPCs or their solicitors everyday which are virtually carbon copies of each other. They even forget to edit their templates sometimes...
They'll submit a WS to the court which reads...
"the defendant parked their vehicle at [CAR PARK] on [DATE]......" They really are that incompetent!0 -
Hi guys, I'm back (unfortunately). So the above court letter was sorted, then I got another one for parking in the same area. (This was at around the same time I got the first ticket, was not after I got the small claims letters, I'm not THAT silly). But something which is arguably just as silly is using the exact same defence on my second one as I did on my first. So yeah I did that a while ago now I've got a letter titled "Notice of Proposed Allocation to the Small Claims Track".
Please advise on what I should do as this letter is just speaking a different language, I'm not sure what it wants me to do or what I should do.
Any useful replies will be greatly appreciated.0 -

Your question about court procedures and forms is already covered in the NEWBIES thread post #2 where it says: 'IMPORTANT - KNOW WHAT YOU MUST DO AND BY WHEN!
You have NOT had an *identical* form from Gladstones. Their misleading one is an N159 isn't it.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

thank you coupon mad! massive help
i have done the form and sent it off. Is this 100% going to end up in court or is there a possibility they'll pull out? I'm very nervous about representing myself against a judge and someone whos arguing against me who does it as their profession. Doesn't help that this isnt going to be tomorrow, its going to 20 weeks before they acknowledge and them some more weeks for the court date.0 -
It won't be six months off. It will be in the Spring, and you should 95%(ish, my guesstimate) expect a hearing to happen, even though sometimes Gladstones discontinue beforehand.
I assume the form you sent off was the court version N180, not Gladstones's misleading one pretending it would be a jolly wheeze for the case to be heard on the papers only.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
