Daughter has this phone and uses it as her MP3 player. However some of the msuic she has on computer doesnt play. She has both ripped CDs and downloaded (legit downloads with licences etc). Was wondering whether this phone has problems with some types of music (eg: DRM'd tunes)??
Any other owners have similiar problem and how to get around it?
One suggestion was it was to do with varibale but rates but the tracks that do play have different rates

DD has one of these and has no trouble at all,She uses hers as an Mp3 player too as it carries so many tunes..... what she says to do is connect it to the computer and then wait for the screen to come up with the picture of the phone. After that you download them and save them. If some songs dont play then it might be that the disk has a scratch on it or might not have connected it properly. So she says!!!lol It's a mystery to me.xXx-Sukysue-xXx0

Hi suky. Not sure thats they answers. The phone registers that the song has been copied OK using the actual Samsung software, it just simply wont play it! One of the tracks a was a download so scratched disk not applicable. Thanks for trying,0

if the track was downloaded from itunes, it wont work on the e900 due to the file type not being one the phone can accept.
it will copy the file correctly but the phone wont play it because its not a supported file type0 -
Your phone supports the following formats, from the Samsung website -MP3/ACC/ACC+/e-AAC+/WMA
so it won't play any protected songs, i.e. songs you've bought legally from the main on-line music stores.Dave. :wave:0
