HELP! Mini Xmas Market Break

Hello,
I have never booked a holiday before so am clueless on where to look. My parents wedding anniversary is coming up in October. I remember about 8 months ago seeing this deal:
(Not allowed to post link. The deal was via Groupon. 2 night cruise and 1 night stay in Bruges for £89pp. For a December mini break)
Sadly I couldn't afford this last year. But this year I can. So I am hoping to send them off on a weekend break. My mother has always said she would love to go to the likes of France of Germany around Christmas time to go to one of there Christmas markets.
I was annoyed last year when I saw that deal above as that would of been perfect. So I am hoping to get something like that this year for them. It does not have to be a cruise.
So yer I need help I have no idea where to even search for stuff like this. I just want to send them off Germany or France sometime early December. To a city that have these Christmas markets. With a place to stay and a way to get them there and back (plane or cruise). Only for 3-4 days. Going to say £150pp is my limit at the moment. But may be able to go a little over that. Don't matter where they depart from. As they can travel by train to anywhere in Briton for free.
Thanks.

The deal you saw is fairly standard, from hull, we did it last year and I think got a night in Bruges for a similar price, but there's obviously food, Drinks and spending money as well.
There are plenty of budget flights from Liverpool which might be another option, have a look on skyscanner.com with some rough dates and Liverpool as a departure and a list of destinations by costs will be available.0 -

Sky scanner the flights and trivago for the place to stay. If you click the whole of the month for the flights I bet you won't be too far off the £89 quoted for the other one:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one

If you can get to Manchester there's return flights for £38 ish, liverpools quite a bit more:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one

Hotels are £38 plus per night, that's for Hamburg but not sure if there's an Xmas market there though:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one
