Life and Death Prizes - I can't UNTICK the tick boxes

I've been trying to cut down on the vast amounts of Spam emails I've been getting lately and I have been going through my different accounts to make sure all the tick boxes are either ticked or unticked to prevent the spam I have been getting.

I seem to be having a problem with Life and Death Prizes which run the puzzle mags like 'Pick Me Up' and 'Chat'.

My account always seems to end up with a tick against the email boxes no matter how many times I try to untick them. They just seem to revert back after I have updated the details!

Anyone else having this problem?

I've had that problem with a few of the mags.

Some won't let me change my password.

Some tell me I've entered the competition before, when it was over 24 hours when I last did.

When I changed my password on Life and Death Prize, it did let me untick that third party box, and it's remained unticked.

I've just done that now ( changed my password) and it has now let me untick the two emails boxes AND they remain unticked.

It makes me wonder how those boxes ever got ticked in the first place and how much spam email have I received as a result.

More people should go to their 'Account Details' on Life and Death Prizes and check this out for themselves.
