Large e mails - problems downloading

Help!! On dial up only and having a real problem downloading e mails - suspect someone may be trying to send something "big" - is there any way of speeding it up, or finding out who's sending it and skipping that particular one - as we need to see any others:confused:?

Log into your account using the web interface and see exactly what's in your inbox.

You could log into your inline account to see it. Then if you don't want to download it, create a subfolder and dump it in there because your Outlook will only attempt to download the inbox, not the subfolder.

You could get an accelerator programme but the best thing if you get them a lot is to be on broadband.

I used to constantly send & receive databases to work when working from home and it was a real pain on dial up, sometimes taking 10 minutes to send. I noticed that if my line dropped, it wouldn't get any further which maybe whats happening to you.

Thanks - but once in the folder, can I go back and download it if I decide to?

just move it back to the inbox if you move it on webmail or cancel the rule telling it not to download over a certain size.
  • Also, warn all your friends not to send you huge photos etc!! :D
I don't believe and I never did that two wrongs make a right
  • Yes, I've certainly let them know!!

    Thanks
