Raviolo in Balham has teamed up with Families Online to offer one lucky winner a children’s birthday party for up to 10 children, aged 4 to 10.

Raviolo opened in Balham SW12, right opposite the station, in early 2007. Set over two floors, Raviolo features long wooden tables and benches, perfect for large groups and children’s parties. The restaurant welcomes families and has a casual feel with a warm atmosphere.

As the name suggests, Raviolo’s focus is on stuffed ravioli, with a number of fillings available from wild mushroom, to rocket and ricotta, or scallop and prawn. These can be paired with a choice of sauces including tomato and pesto or a choice of olive oil from Tuscany or Sicily.

There are also plenty of options for those wanting something other than ravioli, such as risotto, mushroom crépes and salsicce. Delicious desserts feature pannacotta, tiramisu, and lemon, basil and passion fruit sorbet.


Children are well catered for with a special menu including starters such as soup and garlic bread, and main courses of chicken escalope, meat lasagne and focaccia pizza fingers. Toys are on hand to keep them amused whilst dining, and a dedicated space is available for parking buggies.
