Can you see any other wireless networks in your locality? If they are using the same wireless channel number as your network, they could be causing interference to your network, so you could try changing the channel. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

Have you checked your Internet connection Properties. There is a disconnect if idle option which may have been selected
If you can connect to your router using a cable without disconnections it could be an interference problem or an option selected within the router configuration page0 -

Have you stopped any services?
Have you checked the WiFi drivers are the most up to date ?0 -
youll might need to check the connection settings. laptops use all sorts of settings to save power useage. anything to extend battery life.Get some gorm.0

First check the power management settings for your wireless card:
Right click on My Computer and choose Manage
Select Device Manager on the left hand pane of the Computer Management windows that should open up
Expand the Network Adapters list on the right hand pane of Computer Management
You should see your wireless adapter listed there (and probably a wired ethernet adapter as well) Right click on teh wireless adapter and choose Properties
Go to the Power Management tab
If Turn off this device to save power is checked then uncheck it.
See if that helps
If it doesn't you can try changing the channel your wireless works on (theres 10 or 12 to choose from) but thats a bit more complex to explain since I don't know what router you have.
