"Be a product tester" -- Grrr!

Stupid me.

I responded to a pop up that invited me to be a product tester. I'd get to keep the product afterwards, for writing an honest review. Sounded legit.

OMG. I was sent through an irritating, time-consuming process of being asked a thousand questions - did I want this that and the other? I clicked NO on everything. It simply took me to another and another page of bloody questions. I gave up in the end.

I shall never get to test that product because I cannot be bothered to fill in any more of these pages and pages of "offers".

And now my inbox is inundated with offers. And un-subbing will take me half a day. :-(

Stupid me!

There are a few on the market that do not need to know all of you families history going back to the stone age and what colored socks you plan to wear Christmas 2027 to 2049.
I was invited to join Morphy Richards trials and only a short form to fill in. So far I have had a steam iron/food mixer and std microwave oven all to keep FOC for two reviews {one on MR site and one on Amazon} so don't give up hope. Just choose carefully:0)

Unless reviews are by a verified purchaser on Amazon I ignore them. If a company gives me free gifts and will continue to do so I'd be tempted to overlook any negatives the product might have and extol the good ones. Some would-be purchasers must fall for it though if companies continue to dish out freebies.

I except that some people will do as you say but I for one would {and do} give my honest opinion on any product I get be it as a purchase or as a free item to test.
I would rather be thrown off a testing company for giving a bad review than think that I had misled someone who will pay hard earned money for a lie.
I know there are many that will not give negative comments but they are only fooling themselves as sooner or later they will get caught out believing a misleading website review themselves
