Hello,
I desperately need recommendation for a mobile phone model for my elderly mum. Her vision is very poor and she is struggling to use touch screen for messages ,she says she cant see letters clearly. I need something with big buttons, but because she is living abroad alone an option to have Viber or Whats up is essential. As well is GPS
Could anyone please recommend me smthg?

Have a look at Doro, the secure 580 has just 4 numbers on it, or Argos sell Sim Free Alba Big Button Mobile Phone.0

There's a range of phones (and other useful stuff) here -

Maybe not but most of the Doro Smart phones should be capable as they have Goggle Play store.

The problem is big button phones don't tend to go with smartphones, they are all touchscreen.
You could give this Doro Liberto 820 a try (Amazon warehouse £115), as it apparently uses large icons and text on the screen. You'd probably need to set it up for her first though, as there are some reviews mentioning difficulty setting it up because of transparent buttons and light text. Also I wouldn't generally recommend Doro phones because they are dear for what are pretty basic phones anyway, just because they are marketed to a select group of people.0 -
Assuming it's an Android smart-phone, have a look in the Google Play store - there's loads of Apps for older/elderly users, that give you big button type dialling and functionality with an existing smart phone.
Apps like this (not used it myself):
