Anything better than google maps or instant street view

I was trying to find a asda store so I put postcode CF11 8AZ in google maps and it took me outside cardiff city football ground so I put the same postcode in instant street view and it took me inside cardiff city football ground changing room.

That's correct. That postcode is for the football ground as well. If you search by postcode, maps will pick a point roughly central to the area covered by it. Unlike Ireland, postcodes in the UK don't always narrow down to a single building.

If you put that into satnav it will get you within visual distance of your target. MK1 eyeball and common sense should then be able to get you to the front door.

...which is why I get cars trying to drive round the back of my house! My house is the centre of my postcode, so every idiot who relies solely on their sat nav ends up at my door, or driving into the garden. A postcode gets you into the right area but you need to apply some common sense and your eyesight thereafter! [/Rant]
