Hi busty,
I have been a reader of this forum for some time.
I agree threading or tinting is no good if you do not have enough hair or the right hair, you can only work with what you have.
I am in the beauty industry and have used the above lady (Heidi Worman) as well, great results, certainly recommended.

Hello kel, yes Heidi Worman was excellent, the good lady
was very pleased! and thinks she went to the best person, in her opinion.
We noticed that Heidi worked with some excellent people and that she was also recognised by BUPA, they would only work with good people I would say. In her portfolio there was quite a few famous people who she had worked with, so we was very happy (we my good lady was!!!) a really good shape.

I would advise great caution for this.
If done well, I'm sure it's excellent - but one of my laser patients is a lady who had it done 'on a whim' on holiday.
1 year and 7 sessions later and it's nearly gone - but having it taken off is way more expensive than putting it on (Although some of the top prices I've just read on here for having it done will be similar to the charges for removing it!)
Make sure you get it done well - not cheaply! How to find a dentist.
1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.0 -
Hi theres a lady in harvey nichols manchester thats supposed to be an expert heard she,s good. but please please avoid a lady called sharon she,s in the spa at lancashire health and raquet club and a didsbury spa also.
She left my friend in such a bad state, her eyebrows were so bad and its permanent so its something that people should consider like they would cosmetic surgery. There are great make-up ranges now so unless its a medical reason like alopecia nobody needs this.0 -

Excellent point. It would be so interesting to see a picture. My eyebrows are terrible.0 -
I thought the eyebrow tatooing that they did was only semi-permanent and was considering having it done, but if it is permanent then I won't bother. Or can you get different types?Jane

I had my eyeliner done (top and bottom) years ago by a lady called Lorraine near Manchester and she has become a really good friend. She is a perfectionist which helps!! I opted for the top eyeliner as I just can't do it myself and the thought of waking up in the morning looking half human appealed to me!
I also got my eyebrows done as I can't shape them myself so it means that I have a shape that I can pluck to. They do fade over time but if you have a low pain threshold then she tops up the anesthetic cream and constantly asks if you are okay. She has corrected other peoples work and goes on training courses all the time.... actually I should be on commission!! lol Thank you to all posters - you are fabulous!!! :beer:0 -

It is semi permanent0 -
Hi Happymand
Whereabouts outside Manchester. I live in Prestwich and would be interested in semi permanent eyebrows which are a bit moth-eaten with age.0
