Anyone With Info?0

Your friend really needs to get that information from the Housing Association. As he's been in the same property for 20 years he may well have the right to acquire which isnt the same as the right to buy - the discounts are lower. His landlord can tell him - whether he has this right, how he can exercise his right etc. His other options are likely to be either shared ownership or homebuy, his landlord will also have info on this and whether or not he qualifies. He needs to make his request in writing and make sure he has all responses in writing. Once he has info on his options you can then post again for more info if needed. HTH.~A mind is a terrible thing to waste on housework~0
