We've hit another snag. The money has not come over to our joint account. We're now thinking, if the clerk did not get in a twirl trying to sell us an advance account, which after some discussion we rejected, didn't go and ditch the whole thing. He seemed ignorant of my status, although told!
Now, I went on live-chat, which said contact telephone banking. That's Ok until I input what I thought were the required digits. These would have been very memorable from to years of my life in my late teens. No, I'm wrong.
So, is my telephone banking now changed to what I recently revised my Internet banking details to? if it is, then as it now contains letters as well as numbers, how can the letters be entered on a landline key pad. Stalemate it seems.
Guys! How do I solve this new trap?
As for the money, I'm bending toward just paying in a cheque on my wife's account, and letting the old account lie dormant.0 -
