Thomson Legal Advice Please Flight Only

Thank you so much. I'm more confident with consumer law and package holidays compared to flight only. Had one previous experience of small claims and won, would only do this if common sense did not prevail.

I think local media are more interested in the "can't book 4 week flight onlys" in summer holiday angle. I sense Thomson are trying to keep that quiet

Where are you flying from and to? Surely there are other options than Thompson, even if they don't have flights available so far ahead.

As I've stated earlier there isn't due to my special needs son hence local airport and early booking to ensure seats etc.

Thomson have also just phoned asking me to reconfirm the dates. This is what I have to put up with ! (They have it on record, I saw it myself yesterday when in store !!!) and they're "not bothered" if I take them to Small Claims Court either. Something I would do if needed

Id just try and book it online or could you change it to a three week break as they do do 21 days holidays so there's no excuses there

There is no 4 week option online (happened once before and Thomson sorted it manually).

For various reasons it ideally has to be four weeks and is backed by the medical profession and has been throughout. Not sure why I feel I have to justify that point I must admit. Maybe if I did this during school term time ?!!!! (And no I wouldn't do that !)

I was just able to book a theoretical flight, with Thomson, for between 24/7 & 18/8....25 days.

Maybe time to contact the media, so watchdog style tv programmes. National broadsheets travel or money sections, or even your local paper.

Would love to see the 'not bothered' quote in print, that wouldn't make easy reading for their MD.

It's the second time they've said similar, I'm in touch with local media and awaiting reply from Consumers Association, also contacted ABTA and CAB, have legal advice Monday am now
