My wife had two bank accounts, in one there was £12.00 and in the other bank account there was £16.00 but this is bank with credit card debt of just over £2500. I have/am paying the funeral costs0

Just tell the two creditors there is no money and nobody is administering the estate. They will write the debts off.0

Just received letter Philips& Cohen regrading one of my late wifes debits, what should I do?0

Simply write to them informing them that the estate was insolvent, and that you are not administering it.
Did you do this with the original lender?0
