Wow. So, what we have here is someone who took on a job that they knew they would struggle in, with a view to launching a claim for compensation when their shortcomings were exposed.
That's pretty low.
Fortunately, as has been pointed out the law doesn't protect you in this situation, so your scheme will not work.0 -
It would appear, worse than that. Took a job which their own medical professionals said they would struggle with. So happy to risk their own health and life for a hare brained scheme against medical advice. Seems any advice the OP gets is not listened to. I'd not risk my life or my health for ANY employment. Or any court case ( if the OP can't cope with a few hours of work and a commute without ending up in a hospital, they really haven't ever seen a tribunal - entirely stable people are reduced to gibbering wrecks by them!).GarthThomas wrote: »Wow. I really feel for your employer.
You've clearly looked for the earliest point to pick a fight with the employer and expecting them to make all jumps.Don't trust a forum for advice. Get proper paid advice. Any advice given should always be checked0 -
I have sought legal guidance and have instigated early conciliation. She has taking a full history including all the emails I have sent in. Does not matter I never told the employer at the start. What is important I made them aware and they ought to be looking into it with reasons giving if they do not provide adjustments. Appears a few on this thread are talking .... and seem to have an issue with myself exposing a weakness on the employer's side. Not my fault my employer fails to comply with the law. I am only using the protection offered by the law
