New Orange router for new package

A question that I hope someone on here can help me with.....Orange Broadband don't know you see

At the moment I have the pleasure of being charged £27 a month for the top of the range service I am recieving. It would seem that Orange forgot to tell me that I could get a faster speed etc for just £12 a month. Don't you just love that!

Sooooo, I have decided to go for the £12 a month service and have been told that I will be sent a new router for the new service. What I can't get my head round is I would have thought they only needed to flick a switch and charge me £12 but oh no, I need everything new. OK if that's how it works who am I to argue but.....I use a very nice BT Voyager wireless router that works very well.

Will I still be able to use this when I go onto the £12 package?
My second favorite household chore is ironing. My first being, hitting my head on the top bunk bed until I faint.

I would have thought so, unless it can't handle the higher speed, in which case you will need an upgrade....

I had the same. They sent me the orange live box after I tried to cancel last week and its very annoying that I have been paying £17 a month for ages and now I will be getting a faster connection and wireless too for less that half the price, anyway

I will have to say that it is very easy to set up ( I managed it in about 10 mins )it is quite idiot proof,
The only problem I have had is that I have to configure my outlook express again with the new mail account details ( it wouldn't let me send or recieve e-mails). They talked me through it on the phone..
