Just seeing if anyone knows the answer to this. We bought a Haven holiday for our daughter her partner and 2 children, paid for on our debit card. Our youngest granddaughter now has chicken pox and we don't think she will be very welcome! My question is would we be covered on our travel policy as we bought it, but we are not going? I'm thinking we are not covered but hope someone will advise us
Thanks

When are you planning to go? by the time you know someone has chicken pox (ie the spots are visible) the infectious (and grouchy) period is usually over.Aug GC £63.23/£200, Total Savings £00

rad your policy - what does it say it covers.
A phone call to the company will give you a quick answer0 -
Hi, thanks for the replies! I checked with the pharmacist at Boots, he says as long as the spots have scabbed over she is ok to go. Panic over!0

I would strongly suggest you contact Haven and get a note from your GP confirming she is not contagious. I don't know what Haven's policy is but Butlins would not allow you on site without a note, as they cannot take the risk with so many other children there.0
