So if you have a car say worth £25000 and you go to p/ex and downsize, lets say wanted to buy a Peugeot for £10000, would any garage entertain such a deal ??? in terms of giving cash back ? I know you could sell the expensive car 1st but that could be a big hassle. I ask as i thought of doing such.....i have a PUG worth…

They are big, heavy, complex 4x4s and yes, they do have a reputation for expensive failures, particularly later in life.

Any SUV and / or premium brand car its well worth paying the extra and getting an approved used car, to ensure you have a quality warranty to fall back on.
