Treating fence panels

My waney panel fences have arrived. They're in the garden getting soaked at the moment. I plan to install them with the help of swmbo, taking the old one down and replacing it with a new one, panel by panel.

The panels are pressure treated. Is it worth adding any sort of DIY type fence treatment?
If so, it'd probably be easier to do so prior to fitting rather than afterwards.

I would treat them before erecting them as if they are between you and your neighbours it makes sure you have both sides sealed and cannot be charged with poss trespass in the future or killing any favorite and cherished plants if the treatment was in any way toxic.
Plus I have found in most weathers it is far easier to paint or spray panels on the flat than vertical:)

I tend not to bother with tantalised wood; if you paint it, you have to keep painting it.

I've just replaced my old fencing with some tanalised panels, I was advised to treat them before install, I used Creocote which is like the old Creosote but less toxic. Sprayed it on and it looks great, neighbours didn't treat theirs and it went silver grey within a couple of years, fine if you like that colour.

I was looking at the likes of cuprinol and ronseal for treatment. Ideally I'd keep the fence the same colour. It's like this:

Though from a local gardening centre rather than Argos!

Screwfix had it on offer a while ago,cupronol in different colours,do not know if still a good price but also b and q had theirs reduced.
