Will someones else post at my address affect me?

Hi all we've recently moved into our new place and my sister has come to live with us for a short while as she sorts herself out. Prblem is shes got all her post comin to ours includin points on her license and bank leters etc. My question is could that affect our house ratin or my credit rating etc even though we're nothing to do with her bank or driving etc? I don't want to moan over a minor thing to her but I'm worried this sort of thing can bite us in the bum in a few yrs time...

Unless you are financially linked ( have a joint bank account / mortgage etc) then the post won't impact you. The only thing that could happen is debt collectors turning up at the door if your sister is in debt and they come to collect.0

There's no such thing as a house rating. Credit ratings used to be linked to address (many years ago) but are now linked to the name only. As above, if you have a joint account with someone with a bad credit rating it's a problem.
In short - you're fine.0
