Speeding Fine - Scotland

Can anyone confirm if there is a timescale for receiving a fine/ban/court hearing from a speeding offence. Caught speeding by camera on 27 January and received letter asking to confirm that this was driver - returned confirmation of this and have since heard nothing. Just wondering if anyone has had similar experience. Thanks.

You would be better asking this question on pepipoo.com as they are the council/police motoring experts whereas we tend only to deal with private parking issues.
