Just a real quick one, I have checked Call Credit and Equifax to have a look at my history after years of burying my head in the sand. Its surprisingly clear. No CCJs and defaults ready to fall off in the next 12 months. That's it. Now how different would the remaining data be on experian? I have applied for the £2 check but it takes a couple of days, as opposed to te instant details the other two gave me.
Thanks!
Thanks!

They are as different as the lenders reporting criteria.
In other words, you'll only find out by checking.0 -
You can get your Experian credit report free here: http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/creditclub0

Thanks dude, I just checked it and thankfully nothing nasty. No CCJ's or Cifas markers, and two defaults that are due to drop off this year. Its taken neary 6 years of responsiblness and commitment but I'm nearly there.... .0

Unfortunately the different CRA's do hold different information which can create different pictures of an individuals financial affairs.
For example, my old and almost repaid mortgage, indicative of a very substantial equity, is reported only to Experian. Experian score me 999 and I appear to be Mr Perfect who can do no wrong in their eyes. This 999 credit score survived a hard search, the appearance of a new credit card account with an almost 10k limit and the appearance of a balance on that account. Yes really. 999 unchanged all the way.
Equifax however is a different story. My mortgage is not reported to them at all, although my electricity account, which is not reported to Experian, is reported to them. Equifax do not give me their maximum score; in fact I barely scrape through into the excellent category.0
