TSB Classic Plus cashback

Can anyone who has one of these accounts tell me when the £5/mth cashback is credited for the 2 DDs and contactless payments? The T&C state it's credited in the following month, but it doesn't seem to be at the same time as the interest (i.e. first working day).

Are they holding off til the end of the month?

I've just had a quick search around (presumably you did too?) to see if anyone else asked or stated when it was paid in April, but found nothing. So the best guess is between the 16th-20th of the month like the contactless cashback was paid. On that basis, expect it either tomorrow or very early next week.

My cashback was paid on 20th of last month so possibly tomorrow or early next week I would guess.

Yes, did quite a bit of searching before posting, found quite a few questions about the account but not about this specifically. I'll keep an eye on it for the next few days, thanks!

Can anyone confirm that the £10 cashback can be claimed for older TSB Classic Plus accounts?; that is the £5 cashback for direct debits, and the £5 for transactions.

I have an account i've had for over a year and want to know if this is valid. At the moment I have no direct debits so can't confirm.

If these are not for 'existing customers', i'm switching it to another bank.

If you read the cashback offer Ts & Cs linked from post #1, it really won't take you long to find the answer (less than three lines in!)

I know this isn't of much general interest but it amused me:

Started my usual monthly task today to do £100 of Contactless transactions. As often happens I started with fuel and today I loaded a random supply costing below £30 to keep within contactless.

    Cost £29.29; last month on May 4th £29.29; on April 2nd £29.21.

It has a nice symmetry which pleases this simple mind :)

My husband uses one card just for petrol and odd car items. He can ,most of the time, do exactly £30,but no problem if it's £30.05 as you can pay the difference in cash.

I'm going through a bad luck spell with frequent requests for PIN on all three cards. I've noticed the most likely times are Sunday afternoons and Fridays, after 4pm.

Yesterday,I only had unused cashback on one card so ,of course, it wanted the PIN, so I used my Co-op card on principle (at least I got 5p).However, I went back into Tesco for a tray of plants and the card worked with no problem (on a smaller amount).
