Boiler Fault

Morning,

My Baxi Solo 2 40 rs boiler has developed a fault any help would be brilliant!

All seems to work perfectly but every now and again the boiler is hesitant to fully firing. Pilot light is always on and never an issue but sometimes when the stats and hot water tank call for heat the pilot light continues to idol and does not fully fire.

By shutting down the gas control knob and relighting the boiler will return to normal and fully fire, this sometimes takes a few attempts as the control knob may cut a couple times just after lighting. This can fix the issue for months at a time but now again it cuts and leave s us without hot water!!

I'm sure there is nothing wrong with the system away from the boiler.

Any obvious suggestions of fault or quick troubleshooting?

Cheers
